When Ahana goes missing, suspicion immediately falls on her father, Randhir. Despite the accusations, Randhir is determined to find his daughter and will stop at nothing to bring her home. Meanwhile, Ahana finds herself confined in a room under constant surveillance. As a result, she has become a participant in a sinister Dark Web reality show where survival is a ruthless game. Trapped and closely watched, Ahana can barely remember what freedom feels like.
As the book is only 160 pages long and a thriller, I will not reveal too much about it. Let's talk about the book's other aspects instead. It is a fast-paced thriller that compels you to keep turning the pages. The first-person narrative maintains interest, and the short chapters ensure a brisk pace. However, the heavy focus on the plot somewhat restricts character development, making it difficult for readers to empathize with the characters.
The narration is excellent, despite a few minor loopholes that an avid reader might notice, but they can be ignored due to the gripping plot. While the story could have been stronger, I would still recommend this book to thriller lovers.
