Roshan and Soha loved each other unconditionally. Roshan was Hindu and Soha a Muslim girl. As their religions were different and due to family issues they parted away their ways sadly. Roshan gets married to Manisha. Soon they were blessed with a boy, whom they named as Anuj. Unfortunately, Roshan lost Manish to cancer. Soha returns back into the life of Roshan. Anuj is stubborn and adamant to not accept Soha as his mother but Roshan wants to give them a chance once again. Roshan is caught in a situation where he wants both his son and his love.
.
After her death, Roshan was in a dilemma, if he should start his life afresh with Soha, but the world seems to be against them, including Anuj. Soha or Anuj, whom will Roshan choose?
All the characters are well developed and perfectly portrayed. The handling of a very delicate topic like religion, especially in the contemporary world, by discussing Babri Masjid issue & all without hurting any religious sentiments. Beautiful portrayal of Love Story of Soha & Roshan without adding awkward masala moments. Humor moments between Anuj & Gagan were really enjoyable & it made me smile.
The author had delicately portrayed a sensitive topic of inter caste love, without hurting any community. In today's world where some people cannot even withstand a mere ad showing an interfaith couple, this book tries to open our eyes to see beyond religion and understand the boundless power of "love". Apart from being a love story, the author has also included the emotional upheaval of a child, coming to terms with his mom's death and trying to cope with a new woman in his family.
