Audrey Miller, despite being in her early twenties, shoulders the immense responsibility of keeping her family together after the passing of her mother fourteen years ago. With her father struggling to cope, she balances caring for her four siblings while working two part-time jobs. The only solace in her busy life is the single college class she secretly takes each semester, nurturing her love for learning and providing a much-needed mental escape.
It’s during one of her shifts as a barista when she meets Ronan Walsh, mistakenly assuming he's trying to finagle a discount. What begins as an awkward misunderstanding soon takes an unexpected turn when Audrey discovers Ronan is her professor for the Brain-Changing Positivity class she’s enrolled in that semester.

Ronan, raised by his grandmother after his parents abandoned him, has dedicated his life to his academic career. Having long since given up on meaningful relationships, it's ironic that he finds himself in a romance-themed town. Yet, meeting Audrey, with her intellect and shared worldview, prompts him to reconsider what life – and Kissing Creek – might have to offer.
Ronan is a compelling, modern hero who complements Audrey’s strength, intelligence, and deep care for her family. Their love story is tender, passionate, and convincing, leaving me feeling uplifted and grateful for the delightful escapism.

Kissing Lessons is a heartwarming small-town romance between two individuals shaped by their pasts. Audrey fights fiercely to ensure her siblings are cared for despite putting her own life on hold. Ronan, emotionally scarred by his mother's abandonment, has spent his adulthood avoiding connections. Both must learn to detach themselves from their emotional baggage before fully embracing their future together.
This novel is a charming, feel-good romance filled with witty banter, endearing characters (including a mischievous llama), and steamy, well-paced scenes. It’s a must-read for those looking for a sweet yet passionate escape.
