It is a romantic thriller. The story begins with the scene where Vaishnavi Pandit, a criminal defense lawyer in Tihar Jail, is talking to an accused and the name of the accused is Major Vikrant Singh Rajput. You all must be wondering why a Major is lodged in Tihar Jail. He is accused of triple murder. Vaishnavi wants to know about the motive behind the crime by a man who was once considered the pride of the country, who served in the Indian Army and later in the NSG.
Why did an army man kill three people?
Why did a Black Cat commando take the law into his own hands?
Is he really the accused or some conspiracy or an unbearable pain because of which he does not want to live and he took the charge on himself?
The author has structured the book along two primary sections, in the first part he talks about Viraat's NSG mission in which he saves thousands of lives from terrorists, and in the next, he talks about Virat's true love of Pratishtha. And then comes the thriller part, which is the highlight of the story. The book maintains the flow from the first page to the end. My favorite part of the book is when the mystery really begins. It has patriotism, romance, suspense, and thrill.
The narration was great and Language used was simple. I liked the way how the author has described each and every character or place mentioned. I would recommend this book to romance lovers as well as thriller lovers as this book is meant for both types of readers.
