Marriage in the Time of Corona narrates the marriage preparations of two families during the Covid-19 pandemic in India. It's a story about a Buddhist Thai girl with a Christian schooling background and her attempt to marry a westernized Sikh boy of Indian descent as the spread of Covid-19 becomes uncontrollable. A love story for the ages filled with a heady mix of adventurous humor and adrenaline in North India as its backdrop along with all the twists and turns that it brings with it.The book is less than 100 pages and it consists of seven chapters. The book is a short & sweet read but it failed to keep me captive, perhaps because of the writing style. However, the language is top-notch and had all my attention.
My Rating:
3/5
