The book begins when a child finds the decapitated head of a female. The story revolves around the protagonist Komal, who is a CBI intern and she is on assignment to find a serial killer. She comes across the case of the decapitated female while working on her assignment at Thane police station. Here I won't reveal much about the story as it's a thriller book or we can also call it a forensic thriller, else it will become a spoiler.
A very detailed description, the reader does not need to google forensic words as the author has explained every word well. While shuffling from scene to scene is very intuitive, it's usually a very difficult part when it comes to shuffling from one scene to another scene or from one period to another. Despite being the first book, it has been written with very thorough observation. A well-researched, fast-paced page-turner read for thriller lovers. While reading the book you will come to know why I have called it a well-researched book. Although the language is very simple and clear, the reader will discover many new terms, especially those related to forensics and medical science. If you are a 'CID' lover then you are definitely going to enjoy this book. Characters are also well portrayed.
I would recommend this book to every thriller reader, especially those who love to read crime thrillers.
My Rating:
4.5/5
