Anuj and Ruchi are the central characters of the story. They are both teenagers. Despite being devoted to one another, they were never intimate. Anuj wanted to kiss Ruchi on new year's eve. But it all went in vain, putting their relationship at risk. Clearly, Anuj is a novice when it comes to understanding the true meaning of love, but he found his mentor in Ruchi's aunt Aarya. The plot then turns to our other main protagonist Aarya's past. The cricket coach for the girls' team, Aarya, a strong, confident woman who has experienced similar situations in the past, helps Anuj get his love back and guides him through the ups and downs. Through her story, Anuj learns many things and gains a deeper understanding of a girl's emotions and point of view. A twist is revealed at the end of the story.

This book contains a unique love story. I found the book to be simple yet engaging and impactful, with no complicated plot or characters. The language and narration were so easy and fluid. Character development and narration are also excellent. Finished in a few sittings, this book is fast-paced and easy to read. This is a book teenagers or college students should consider reading since it deals with a topic that today's young generation should understand. You won't regret reading this if you like romantic fiction.
