The protagonist of the story, Sooraj Sanghani, hails from a billionaire family and is blessed with everything 'extra', from wealth to weight. He is persuaded to lose weight drastically before his sister's wedding by his mother, Nina Ben, who realizes that all eyes will be on him as the Sanghani heir. As a way to appease her, Sooraj accepts an ambitious target for weight loss before his sister's wedding. It's also important to him that Nivriti reciprocates his sentiments. Jackie, his trainer, works hard to improve his fitness. Sooraj is a very likable character who is humble and down-to-earth. With so much going on in the protagonist's life, weight loss and its accompanying story will cheer you up. In this book, the author has unapologetically poked fun at India's richest family, the Ambanis. Obviously, the names have changed.
It's a fun read. While reading the book, I felt a Bollywood vibe. A good writing style and straightforward vocabulary make it easy to understand. It is also well narrated. It has quite a different plot and is a refreshing read from regular stories. I wasn't blown away by the book when I picked it up, but if you're a Bollywood fan, you may enjoy it. The perfect book for Bollywood fans.
