"Sonnets To Paradise" is a story of two single women Nayantara & Nicola. But both are trying to find meaning in their lives. Both are searching for a peaceful settlement. Nayantara is a successful, single woman residing in the quaint town of Rickmansworth. Nicola's life is full of lustful extravagance, momentary romantic escapades, indecisiveness, and unsteadiness.
I feel that this book is a very different attempt because of its plot, the story based on two single women and their tedious journey, one had a difficult past and another had a very jovial occurrence in her past. And now both are searching for their paradise. The story is equipped with a very optimistic and well-staged premise. The characters themselves uphold the air of mystery and secrecy. Language is very simple and lucid that everyone can understand. There are some sonnets in every chapter that gives a romantic and emotional touch to the story. Only a thing which I felt that there is some metamorphosis from one segment to another. It creates some confusion for the readers.
Overall I have enjoyed reading and recommend this book to anyone, especially to those who love reading sonnets. This book is a contemporary story of two single women in their varied ages, searching for happiness and finally arriving at a peaceful juncture in their lives.
My Rating:
4/5
