"The one from the stars" is a beautiful book with a unique plot and amazing story line. Characterization was perfect and readers can connect to the story. The book is an inspiration to help you follow your own path. The language of the book is simple which will make it easy to read for the readers.
Vishesh is a dreamer, who is driven by his passion for writing and words. But like most Indian middle class families, his parents are impatient to see him settled in a government job. Despite all obstacles, making no complaints, he continues to follow the hard path, holding up the promise he had made to himself, trying to fulfil his father's wishes, and failing over and over. Lost by his convictions to try some more, to be what he is and to live a bit more of himself, he fails, time and again, he continues to fail like never before and hence starts the struggle to meet up his parent's expectations. Struggling to live a dream of his own, he loses his parents, friends and the love of his life. In the journey of pursuing his passion, Vishesh faces setback and in the meantime, he is diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The plot is designed beautifully with the right words at the right time. It had everything from Inspiring lines to beautiful poems, Love, friendship, faith, anger, and reunion. A complete package of all the emotions.

This book is an eye opener to every parent to let their children live their dreams & for every human to not give up on their dreams.
The ending was a little bit abrupt & quickly finished (at least i felt ). The story would have been better for me if the climax was more appealing , I felt the climax rushed for the sake of ending the book.
