Basically, it's a rom-com. There were two parts to the story, one where the protagonist's life was completely different before he met his lady love at his best friend's marriage, and one where it was completely different after he met his lady love at his best friend's marriage.

There is no word like commitment in the dictionary of Rahul Malhotra, the main protagonist from South Delhi. While Tanvi Banerjee is a Bengali girl from Kolkata, there is no such thing as a casual relationship for her. Even so, sparks fly when Rahul and Tanvi meet at a lavish wedding ceremony in Delhi. A few months after they began a long-distance relationship, Rahul meets her orthodox family for the very first time. Rather than being welcomed, he is insulted and expelled from the house because of his murky past. As a way of gaining entry back into her life, Rahul transforms himself into a Bengali driver. To learn about his trials and tribulations, read this book.

The book has a Bollywood vibe to it, and that's how I felt while reading it. It is easy to understand, the author uses straightforward vocabulary, and the writing style is good. If you are a Bollywood fan, you can finish the book quickly, but for me, it didn't meet the expectations I had when I picked it up. There was a sense of old Bollywood in every incident, with dramatic and comic elements.

I feel this is not the end of the story, and I look forward to knowing the fate of the two lovers in the next part. This book will definitely appeal to people who enjoy Bollywood-style love stories. It's a good read for those who want something short and light.

My Rating:

3/5
